ELECTRICAL DEVICES INFO
UV/LED Lamps & Electric Nail Drills
- Before cleaning, always unplug it from the power source to prevent electrical shock or damage.
- While cleaning you must hold the device carefully ensuring that the handle does not bend, and the cord is stable.
- Use a fine cloth or a soft toothbrush to remove the settled dust and debris from the tiny crevices. It can also be cleaned gently with compressed air.
- Do not use acetone to clean the nail drill or any other parts, as it will melt the body.
- Ensure that you clean the handpiece effectively and thoroughly. Lack of effective airflow results in rapid heating of the nail drill’s handpiece. Remember to clean the handpiece regularly (at least once every two weeks) disassemble and clean the handle from any dirt.
- Remember to keep the entire electric file clean and remove all dust after each use.
Useful tips:
- The drill bit should not protrude too far, because this may cause the handpiece to vibrate and make excessive noise. The bit should not be placed too deep in the handpiece either, as pushing it too far may damage the handpiece’s mechanism. The distance between the edge of the handpiece and the lower edge of the bit head is approx. 5–10 mm.
- The handpiece heats up during operation and this is normal. Your hand also releases heat, which may result in the handpiece becoming hot.
- To turn it off, gradually reduce the speed of the nail drill, ensuring the drill has stopped working and the handpiece is not vibrating.
- Do not switch between FRW/REV modes while the nail drill is running as it may result in later problems with the handpiece.
