The Blooming Flowers transfer foil is a colourful transfer foil with a floral design for nail decoration. It is intended for creating a quick, easy and impressive manicure for special occasions. It is a perfect nail art idea for all occasions where delicate and elegant nails are appropriate. Semilac transfer foil can be applied on the whole nail or used to create patterns – the choice is yours. It looks perfect on both pale and bold colours. Try it out yourself!
Semilac transfer foil is perfect for UV gel polish and gel methods. We recommend using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue to apply the foil but you can also stick it on a cured layer of a UV gel nail polish or on a top coat (with a dispersion layer).
DIMENSIONS:
4 x 50 cm
USE:
Application of the foil on the whole nail using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue 7 ml:
- As usual, prep the nail plate.
- Apply the selected Semilac base coat or a different product designed for direct application on the nail plate and cure it under the lamp.
- Apply a thin layer of Semilac Transfer Foil Glue and cure it under the lamp.
- Place the foil on the nail, with the less-shiny side facing the nail, and stamp it on the dispersion layer of the glue applied earlier, remembering to press the foil to the nail.
- Apply any Semilac top coat and cure it under the lamp (if you are using a classic top coat, degrease the nails after curing the product).
Application of the foil on a selected part of the nail plate (as a subtle decoration) using Semilac Transfer Foil Glue 7 ml:
- As usual, prep the nail plate.
- Apply the selected Semilac base coat or a different product designed for direct application on the nail plate and cure it under the lamp.
- Apply the selected UV gel nail polish or Semilac colour UV gel and cure it. You can repeat this step to achieve a more intense colour.
- Apply a thin layer of any Semilac top coat and cure it (if you are using a classic top coat, degrease the nails after curing). In the case of Semilac Extend 5-in-1 nail polishes, you can skip this step.
- Apply a decorative pattern on the Semilac Transfer Foil Glue 7 ml using any Semilac brush or the Semilac Dotting Tool and cure it under the lamp.
- Place the foil on the nail, with the less-shiny side facing the nail, and stamp it on the dispersion layer of the Semilac Transfer Foil Glue 7 ml.
- Finally, apply any Semilac top coat and cure it under the lamp (if you are using a classic top coat, degrease the nails after curing the product).
Application of the foil on Semilac UV gel nail polish
This method is more difficult because the nail polish dispersion layer is not as tough as the Semilac Transfer Foil Glue 7 ml.
- As usual, prep the nail plate.
- Apply the selected Semilac base coat or a different product designed for direct application on the nail plate and cure it under the lamp.
- Apply a thin layer of any Semilac UV gel nail polish* and cure it under the lamp. You can repeat this step to achieve a more intense colour.
- Place the foil on the nail, with the less-shiny side facing the nail, and stamp it on the dispersion layer of the Semilac UV gel nail polish applied earlier, remembering to press the foil to the nail.
- Apply any Semilac top coat and cure it under the lamp (if you are using a classic top coat, degrease the nails after curing the product).
*The nail polish must have a sticky dispersion layer. All Semilac® nail polishes, except for Black Diamond 031, produce a dispersion layer after curing. 031 nail polish can be replaced with Perfect Black 300, which has a dispersion layer.
